Dear friends,

If you are reading this means that you care and still read my blog.

Please do drop me an facebook/email/ leave me a message so that I will pass you my new blog address personally. I only wish to be known on a low profile as to whatever I wrote. Not to worry, I am still writing, but won't be that frequent.

I will slowly migrate my old post over when I get the time, 8 years of writings.. Also, do update me if you have change your blog address as well.

Seriously, I am thinking of relocating my blog somewhere else. Maybe for a fresh start? Been using the blog services here at qqblogs since 2002..got some attachments to it already.

1. The main reason for my skeptical thinking is because of this blog services does not having any platform for uploading any of my own images.
2. It does not allow password protection to certain blog entry.

However, it still have some of its benefits, like you can manage your comments, and have multiple blogs with same account, and categories your entries.

Well, the decision is not final yet. Basically, I do not have time to update my blog as often as before. Anyway, there isn't much people really visiting my blog on a regular basis. Maybe it is just a simply boring blog.

Just a quick update, I will be busy with my work and school projects for the next few months with the start of 2010. So now, this blog is gonna go on:

I thought I would wanna share this since its gonna be 2010 soon! Maybe we can achieve this 21 rules of life.

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully...

I am the camera-man!!!

I was actually out yesterday afternoon at SIM canteen filming for my school project. And today, we were out in Sengkang area filming the various sports activities, and went to East Coast Park to film the rest of the sports. Well, as can see from the title, I am the camera-man. The 2 main actors are my classmates, A & I. Then the sound-man is our K. The art-director cum personal-assistant is our SK. Oh, and not to forget our team name is call, "NICKA Productions". Sounds cool right?

Anyway, filming can be quite a fun thing to do. But the process can be quite physically draining. It is not a big production. So we have to take turns to be in the different roles. Like for some scene, I have to go in the view and be the sub-actors as well. Then filming outdoor under the hot sun can be worst. And being the camera-man, I have to capture the different shot sizes and and different angles. Luckily, we are only required to produce a 3-mins short "Public-Service Message".

We have completed filming all the scenes that are required today. And now what is left would be the editing and compiling part. I would say, this can be the most tedious and time consuming for this project. I am dead tired now. I would need to rest and take a break before I import the videos into my Macbook in the next few days for editing.

Well, I am a happy man today and had fully enjoyed myself. This project has set me interested in going into the video production industry.

It's my 26th Birthday

Alright, this year seem to past so fast and I didn't really celebrate on this day. But I am really delighted that I have many friends whom sent me the wishes. Really very appreciated. So far, I have celebrated with my group of photographers friends, and also a session with a mass october-babies celebration with my University mates. And some lunch/dinners sessions with my colleagues.

Alright, I haven't really receive any expensive gift since my 21st, and this time round, I got my first Crumpler bag from my dear colleagues. It is actually a "7-million" camera bag. And also, they got me the "The Industry Disgrace" camera strap. I am really very happy because it is really something that I always wanted and don't bear to buy it.

Growing a year older, and wiser, I am really contented to have so many friends around me. I guess I really enjoy the company of friends more than any of them buying me any gifts. And of cos, a simple happy birthday wish can really get me excited.

I shoulld have make some resolutions for this year. One of them is to lose some weight. The best is to lose like 26kg of fats. Yah, if I really can achieve that, I will be at the perfect weight with my height.

Next up, I will hope that I can do better in my career, and earn and save more money for my future. Some people say that a man concentrating in doing something is the most attractive. I will try to do whatever part I have to do, and be happy in the process.

Alright, I can officially say I have reach the 2nd half of the 20s, and feeling dame old now!!

Marriage News

Today I came across some news on facebook. I realised that one of my female friend got ROM. She really kept it so low profile that I was quite surprised. Well, I really do not know how did it happened so fast. As in, she just got into the relationship with the guy for about less than 1 year, and now, she's married? Anyway, it is good news for her since she has been yearning to be married after her sister got married last year. I still remember we were talking about why she hoping to get married sooner after she broke off with the last boyfriend. Well, I do hope that she had really found the right guy and is happy being with him.

Anyway, its nice to hear the weddings bells ringings around me. I really give my warm wishes to her for her marriage and be blessful for whole life.

And what about me? I been thinking about the matter. Still yet to find my fate. Hopefully she will turn up sooner. Like my Korean colleague was telling me, that I need TLC. I was wondering what is TLC. So after clarifying with my neighbour S, and she tell me its "Tender, Love & Care". Well, I was overworked and got sick last week, so it does feel sad to suffer through the torment alone in silences. Yes, I am on my road to recovery. Hope that this week will be a happier week.

Portrait shootout

I was feeling a bit pissed tonight because I waited for 2 hours for the make-up artist and the model to turn up. I wanted to arrange to meet 4.30pm, but the make-up artist said it will be better to meet at 4.45pm as she has a studio shoot to attend before that. Yah, I waited at the Macdonalds from 4.45pm to 6.30pm. Am I silly? I think I really have the patience to wait blankly doing nothing for 2 hours. Well, it does gives me a very bad impression on the make-up artist. I guess when you do TFCD, it is really taken for granted that your time is really free! Anyway, we still went ahead with the shoot although it was getting quite late.

And the make-up for the model took almost 1 hour. When proper shoot start, it was already 7.30pm. Supposing a outdoor day shoot has to be turn to become a night indoor shoot. Anyway, we were suppose to go to the park the shoot, but can only take some night shots at the bridge and the community center. Somehow, my hands aren't very stable for the night or my lens are spoilt. I keep getting blurry photos. It is kind of irritating because those nice pose are blurred. Maybe I should get my DSLR service soon. Or should I get a better IS lens? Anyone got any recommendations?

Alright, we call it a day at 9pm. I am still exhausted from the long hours out. I must turn in tonight to rest and maybe sort and touch-up the photos in the next few days. I still have a few set of photos to sort and touch-up. Keeping such a hobby is never easy when you don't have enough time to do other things.

Please give me more time to complete more things!

I certainly look more shag than ever these days. I really do not know the reasons why. Alright, I was sick for the past few days, and took a 2 days MC. However, till today, I still feel very tired and exhausted. It's not just physically, but mentally also.

Yesterday went out with some colleague for KTV. And I realise I have drug allergy to one of the medicines that the doctor had prescribed to me. My skin simply turns red and itchy all over the body. It has cause me not sleep well for the night. I am still getting headaches now and then. Maybe I am dying from some diseases. =x

Sick..MC 2 days

Yes. I am sick..went to see doctor in the afternoon. Given 2 days MC.

Caught a flu, sore throat and cough. But no fever. Weird.

The doctor said that my blood pressure was irregular high than normal. I will need to go back for check-up again in a month time.

Alright, I have been feeling dizzy since morning. Need to go off to rest already.

Match-making

Recently, I realise that some people have been trying to be match-maker. Like one of my photography friend was trying to match-make me with a female friend of hers. We became friends, but there isn't chemistry to develop further.

Then my colleagues have been asking me the weirdest questions. Like trying to "prompt" me for my requirements to a gf..and seem like trying to promote or to make me say I like a certain someone in the company. And happened that someone we all know, actually fit into some of the criterias I listed. Haha.. Anyway, it makes me put in some thoughts about it and whether that certain person does worth considering . Yah, and I know the recent gossips is about from C & D to M & K & S. Before I forget, I remember few months back, one of the boss was trying to recommend the new females colleagues who she thought was single to me as well.. It's so funny.

And another incident, we had this farewell dinner for August yesterday evening. One of my ex-colleague was asking me if I am alright to get to know his female colleague from his new workplace. Actually for me, I am fine in meeting and knowing new people and make friends with them. That's my character. I am fine with everybody. And..well, he's trying to match-make again.

Thinking back, am I really that desperate that need people to match-make? It is something that I should give some thoughts about. Maybe I am really too shy to take action and move forward with the next step in building a relationship with someone.

Alright, I feel like I am having headaches now. Gotta rest already.
